Ever since I was a child, I dreamed of becoming the kind of teacher who could see the light in every student鈥攅ven when they couldn鈥檛 see it themselves.
Too many children grow up without a strong support system, and聽I want to be that steady, encouraging voice that reminds them they matter. Every child deserves someone who believes in them, and that鈥檚 the role I鈥檓 determined to fill.
My 7th-grade English teacher,聽Hope Stone, changed my life by recognizing my potential when I didn鈥檛 recognize it myself. She taught me that your past doesn鈥檛 define your future鈥攊t鈥檚 your perseverance that shapes it. Her faith in me continues to guide how I show up for others every single day.
